Marsh, Parlin & Associates, LLP is a full-service law firm that places particular emphasis on representing clients in business-related areas. We handle both transactional as well as litigation matters.
Our firm was founded in 1987 by Gary L. Marsh following his departure after first spending eleven years with the California-based firm of Cayer, Marsh, Kilstofte & Craton, an a.v.-rated business firm. The “a.v.” rating by the independent Martindale-Hubbell legal rating organization signifies that a firm is “Very High to Preeminent” in its legal ability rating, and “Very High” in its ethical standards rating.
Following six years of legal internship at the Cayer Firm and graduation cum laude from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Mr. Marsh was admitted in 1981 to the Bars of the California Supreme Court; the United States District Court for the Central District of California; the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (San Francisco); the United States Court of International Trade (New York); the United States Tax Court (Washington, D.C.); and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (Washington, D.C.). In 2003, he was also admitted to the Bars of the Colorado Supreme Court; the United States District Court for the District of Colorado; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit (Denver).
Mr. Marsh is rated AV Preeminent (4.5-to-5.0), with a personal rating of 5.0, by the highly respected Martindale-Hubbell© Client Review RatingsTM service. According to Martindale-Hubbell, which has been issuing attorney ratings for over 90 years, “AV Preeminent is a significant rating accomplishment – a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.”
